You will learn how to set up Lightroom correctly to get the best from it. You will leave with an understanding of a robust digital workflow - from importing images, organising and basic enhancement through to export.
Bring your own computer to work on your own images (or our sample ones). We’ll be limiting the workshop to a small group, with plenty of specialist guidance. We have one of the best Lightroom teachers who’ll help you move your skills to the next level.
Who Should Attend ? This workshop is designed for people who either are new to Lightroom, or have got into bad habits! We will cover the core fundamentals of Lightroom, which is highly recommended before you take our Lightroom 2- Next Steps workshop. These two workshops help you build your robust and efficient digital workflow and image management system.

  • What is Lightroom?

Lightroom is the number one digital image workflow system for amatuer and professional photographers. The Lightroom workflow covers everything from download to enhancement and output, providing you with powerful and efficient digital image management and processing.
It should be noted that Photoshop is an extra tool-set that adds to what can be done with Lightroom. Both are available as part of the Adobe “Creative Cloud’ system. If you do not yet have Lightroom it can be download as a free 7-day trial from the Adobe website
  • Class Size

We believe that working in a smaller group provides the best possible learning outcomes. Our one-day workshops provide a tutor to student ratio of 1:5 or better. Group size is limited to 10, and with a group of 6 or more an assistant will be present to make sure everyone receives the attention they need.
