As in other creative fields, making good photographs has always meant finding a personal balance between technique and aesthetics. While the technical aspects of digital photography can seem daunting (especially in Manual mode) it’s really not that complicated, it just requires practice. This workshop will give you a solid start on the path to achieving a balanced, holistic creative approach to your photography, opening up new possibilities for future development.
We’ll start with a run through the important camera controls and later, in the field, learn how to bring them together to allow you to capture photos the way you see them. During the day you can experiment with various combinations for different effects and you’ll find that what may seem a little confusing in theory will make sense and drop into place in practice.
